A Short Week, But a Busy Week!

It was a busy week back in Room 102 this week. We were all working hard finishing off our diorama projects, take a look at them on the blog, just scroll down and enjoy!
We had our Measurement Unit test in Math, a retest will happen next week for those students who need to improve their marks. We have just started our next math unit, we will focus on Fractions. I have posted some games that the children can play to brush up on their fraction knowledge.
Today we said good bye and good luck to Miss. Perri, she has finished her practicum with us. It was a pleasure having her teach the children over the last 4 weeks. The boys and girls had grown close to her over the weeks.
It will be another short week when we return next week, but it is sure to be a busy one.
April is poetry month, and we will take time to read, write and respond to a variety of poetry throughout the month.
Starting April 12, the boys and girls will be part of a Hip Hop dance workshop with a professional dance instructor. We are very excited about this opportunity that was given to us through Arts for Children and Youth.

Enjoy your long weekend boys and girls, see you on Tuesday!!!
